Places for People recognises the importance of, and is committed to, high standards
of corporate governance. The Board has reviewed and adopted the Combined Code of
Corporate Governance and the Group complies with the National Housing Federation's
Code of Governance in all material respects. During the year the Group has continued
its extensive review of its corporate governance arrangements. The Governance Action
Plan has required an objective assessment of all aspects of the Group's corporate
governance and has confirmed that existing arrangements are well-placed to meet the
challenges of the competitive commercial environment that the Group faces.
